Ten Documentaries About Poverty in America

I’ve been watching a documentary on PBS’s Independent Lens dealing with the growing disparity of wealth in America. The film contrast the different lives of New Yorkers who live along Park Avenue. The famous street is divided by the East River and those who live to the south are among the wealthiest people on earth. Those to the north, some of the poorest in America. In browsing PBS’s website I came across an informational page listing ten documentaries about poverty in America. Click HERE for further information and on the video below for a Park Avenue trailer.
